To See or not to See? That is the Question.

For some brides it’s a controversial subject, but having a first look is a hot trend for a reason. It’s becoming more and more common for today’s bride to reveal herself to her groom for a private moment between the two of them (and possibly a discreet photographer and videographer from a distance).  After sharing your “Oh my gosh, we’re really getting married!” moment together, you can then get romantic shots taken, as well as shots of your wedding party, while your hair and make-up is fresh and you’re relaxed. If you wait until after your ceremony for these shots, you’ll feel rushed because you know all of your guests are waiting for you to wrap it up so they can get on with the party.  Even when couples have a cocktail hour for their guests, they still feel stressed because they either can take the time to get some great shots or they can get them “over with” quickly so Grandma doesn’t fall asleep before the toasts.

Trust me… when you see each other as you’re coming down the aisle, I promise you will always remember that moment in time.  If you’ve already had your photo session, you’ll be able to smile knowing that once you are pronounced husband and wife, you can go straight into party mode.

It’s time for modern brides to let old traditions evolve.

we’re definitely going to do this at our wedding…it sucks when the bride and groom hold up everybody at the reception cuz they’re getting their pictures taken for 2 hours!
